In September 2012 I got the chance to acquire my dream car, a supercharged 1937 Cord 812 limousine. The car still carries the 1952 California licence tag. Since 60 years it had been immobilized and stored dry in Southern California. The car had only one owner from 1949 to 2012 (!) is 99% complete and in an amazing unmolested and original condition. A rare car (only 428 supercharged Cord limousines have been built), a real barn find and my first very own classical car. I imported the car to Germany and in the first step will preserve it as is. Perhaps one day I will restore it technically, but sure not optically. This wonderful car will remain what it is: a true survivor.
